Develops several pioneering projects in the use and application of biogas and waste treatment, including the first biogas upgrading plant of the Spanish government 2003 -2005. In 2006, he created the company Energy & Waste. As a result of its R + D + I work and the introduction of several technologies in the market, it has won several awards, among them, at Genera Innovation Room 2012, the TPN-2012 Techno energy magazine, Best Business Practices 2014 by The College of Industrial Engineers of Catalonia. The technologies developed are the result of his R & D & I work on the biogas.

Sri Durga Pedhapally has her proficiency in developing green process and technologies that are sustainable. She involved in designing Process Intensified reactors to address environmental concerned problems such as CO2 capturing, green fuel synthesis. With good industrial and research experience, she has applied technical transfer technology at the lab scale. Through Process intensification techniques the mass transfer limited reactions are driven to achieve yields that are in line with green chemistry principles. Further every parameter of theses PI techniques are studied through simulation studies. Development of simulation model allows evaluating the effect of variables on the performance of various systems. Process Intensification studies with application to green technologies are the focus areas for further research.

Bill Wason has 25 years as senior executive in biofuel or feedstock companies including 4 years as President of Bio Clean Fuels, (built first large biodiesel plant in California), 3 years at Manzoil PLC (75 mgy Polish biodiesel plant), 3 years planning 1.2 mil. MT canola/camelina oil crush project in Saskatchewan, many years in Brazil on food/biofuel processing (aquaculture, macauba/fruit trees & agave) and presentation to airlines to build100 million gal/year renewable jet fuel plant using macauba oil and UOP technology. Recently Mr. Wason founded GCarbon USA for carbon neutral fuels, high sequestration tree planting, forest preservation and high efficiency food-fuel production and secured $30 million in capital. GCarbon is working with 2 indigenous tribes in Maranhao and 24 towns to develop sweet potato ethanol plants and hogs and high-tech protection systems for indigenous jungles, with native tree planting through FUNAI and a blockchain coin for carbon neutral products globally

Arash FARNOOSH holds the Chair of “Electricity Economics & Digital Transition” at IFP School. He has Graduate Engineer's Degrees (French Grandes Ecoles) from both INSA and ENSPM. He also holds a Master in Energy and Transfer Engineering from the University of Toulouse and got his PhD from the University of Montpellier at the Centre of Research on Energy Economics & Law. Currently he teaches courses on energy economics, natural gas and electricity management and techno-economics of renewable energies. Moreover, he supervises a Master’s program in Petroleum Economics and an Executive Master in Energy Management. He is also affiliate professor at Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) and Ecole des Ponts ParisTech. Prior to become a faculty member and researcher at IFP School and IFPEN, he worked in various entities such as Airbus France, Total E&P and BNP Paribas Investment Banking group as a techno-economic engineer and analyst.

Abdel-Hamid's scientific expertise started in water. Since, 1984 the scientific researches have been primarily focused on the integrated assessment of freshwater quality. He has been working with the River Nile in Egypt, for more than 38 years. Water quality characterization is the domain of his researches. Eco-toxicology of industrial pollution is a particular research topic. Bio-assessment of water quality using freshwater microalgae deserved special research interest. Toxicity assessment of pollutants, using standard algal bioassays and biosensors, is a special area of research expertise. Deep research attention was focused on using immobilized algal biosensors for bio-monitoring of water quality. He has largely contributed to the assessment and protection of water quality at both national and international levels. His work on aquatic environments gave him enormous knowledge about the ecology of freshwater microalgae. He gained deep experience, and eventually has developed good expertise in isolation, identification and culturing of microalgae. He gave considerable attention to mass production of microalgae as vital feedstock of useful bio-products and molecules from algae. Thus his research activities and talents were partially shifted towards the field of algal biotechnology. Special interest and great attention are paid to the use of algae biomass as feedstock for the production of biofuels, mainly biodiesel, bioethanol, and jet fuels.
