Miami officially the city of USA, is a coastal metropolis located in south-eastern Florida in the United States. It is the third most populous metropolis on the east coast of the United States. Miami is one of the state's – and the world’s – most popular vacation spots. Though destinations often are said to offer something for everyone, the Miami area does indeed offer multiple enticements for everyone.

Miami and its suburbs are located on a broad plain between the Everglades to the west and Biscayne Bay to the east, which extends from Lake Okeechobee southward to Florida Bay.
