Dr. Francisco Javier Forcadell is an associate professor of management in the Rey Juan Carlos University, and professor in ESIC Business and Marketing School. He has held visiting professorship at some universities around the world. His research and teaching revolve primarily around Strategic Management and Corporate Social Responsibility. He was a consultant at Spanish’ Economy Ministry. He is the author of 17 international publications, focusing on diverse aspects of CSR, innovation, and corporate strategy. He has published in several top journals (six of them listed in the top 10th percentile of JCR categories), including Research Policy, Long Range Planning, Journal of World Business, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Business Ethics: A European Review, Journal of Economic Surveys, Journal of Business Research, Scientometrics, and Global Policy.

Elisa Aracil is a Professor of Economics at Universidad Pontificia-ICADE in Madrid. She has built her career in a variety of roles related to investment banking and the academic world. Her research focuses on sustainable finance, sustainable banks, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental related innovations, digitalization and the progress towards teh Sustainable Development Goals . She has published in top scientific journals such as Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Business Ethics: A European Review, International Journal of Emerging markets and Global Policy. She has presented her work in peer-reviewed academic conferences such as the Academy of International Business (AIB), the European International Business Academy (EIBA) and the Academy of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Knowledge Conference (ACIEK), formerly GIKA and INEKA. She is a researcher at several competitive research projects, and a member of CETIS-PhD program at Universidad Pontifica Comillas.

Mr. Pal Kiss, President of MAHOSZ, Managing Director, THERMOWATT Ltd., Since 2008, Mr. Kiss has served as the MD of the THERMOWATT Ltd. mainly developing and implementing its proprietary, heat pump based technology – co-invented by Mr Kiss – using the heat of sewage for cooling and heating large buildings and districts, patented in 37 countries now. In parallel, Mr Kiss is currently President of the Hungarian Heat Pump Association (MAHOSZ) and member of the EHPA ICHP (large heat pump) work group. His former placements include Development Director of the Hungarian Ministry of Environment where he supervised EU grant financed investments in the fields of wastewater, drinking water, flood protection and solid waste management with a total value of 1.5 billion Euros. Formerly he held MD and deputy MD positions at water and wastewater civil works companies adding to 20 years experience in the water and environmental sector and over 10 years in the energy field.

Assistant Professor Mateo Gašparović, Ph.D. is the Head of the Chair of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing of the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb. As a scientist, Prof. Gašparović actively works on the development and application of advanced remote sensing and photogrammetry methods in environmental science, geoinformation system, documentation of cultural heritage and the development of UAVs. He is giving lectures on Geoinformation Systems and Advanced Remote Sensing at the Faculty of Geodesy. Prof. Gašparović is currently the Vice-Dean for Business and Finance at the Faculty of Geodesy. He is a project manager on project “Advanced photogrammetry and remote sensing methods for environmental change monitoring – RS4ENVIRO” funded by the University of Zagreb and researcher on projects “Geospatial Monitoring of Green Infrastructure by Means of Terrestrial, Airborne and Satellite Imagery – GEMINI” and “Retrieval of Information from Different Optical 3D Remote Sensing Sources for Use in Forest Inventory – 3D-FORINVENT” funded by Croatian Science Foundation

Nick Rezaee is currently a at software engineer Citi Group. He holds a B.A. in the Combined Major of Economics and Mathematics from University of California, Santa Cruz. He has conducted research in Business Sustainability since 2015. Nick has done a variety of research ranging from integrating Business Sustainability into the college course curriculum to incorporating better security measures to decrease cyberattacks. He also has two years of experience working in the tech field including positions at a neuroscience lab researching artificial intelligence and working on data science at Citi Group. Nick grew up in Memphis, TN and plans to pursue a PhD in Econometrics in the future focusing on the economic impact of artificial intelligence on the global economy.

Dr. Junfeng Hu is an Associate Professor in the School of Economics and Management, at North China Electric Power University (NCEPU). He was also a Visiting Faculty Affiliate for the China Energy Group, Energy Technologies Area, at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 2018-2019. His work focuses on energy economics, electricity markets, and electricity system modeling. He presently studies the development of power sector, renewable energy integration and interconnection between power market and carbon market in China mainly. He holds a PhD in Technical Economics and Management from NCEPU, and an MS in Management Science and BS from the School of Economics and Management at Harbin Engineer University, China.

Xianxun Wang is a researcher focusing on the integration of renewable clean energies, especially on excavating the potential of traditional hydropower to complement the new but intermittent wind and solar photovoltaic power. He works as an associate professor in Yangtze University. He obtained the Ph.D. from Wuhan University in 2016. He has 3 year of post-doctoral research experiences in Wuhan University and Duke University, and 5 years of engineer experience in water resources design institute.

Da Liang received the B.S. in electrical engineering and automation and M.S. in electrical engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China, in 2015 and 2018, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with the Key Laboratory of Magnetic Suspension Technology and Maglev Vehicle, Ministry of Education in Southwest Jiaotong University, Chnegdu, China. His current research interests include electromagnetic suspension control technology, maglev vehicle stimulation, and design of magnetic components in maglev vehicle.

Patricia Alves is an Economics Teacher for the Government Department of Education and Science of Portugal with a Master's degree in Human Resource Management (ISLA) and pursuing a PhD in Business Management. Her research interests include employer branding, talent management, strategy, knowledge transfer, sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurship management. Before, Patricia Alves was Territory Manager for Philip Morris International and member of the Management Board of FRIOPAL, SA. (Iglo-Olá distribution in the central region of Portugal).

Maria Paula Cardeal Volpi is biotechnologist graduated in 2016 from the Federal University of São Carlos, in Araras-São Paulo Brazil, with experience in bioprocesses. During her graduation she undertook scientific initiations with the development of research into fermentations using residues from the sugarcane industry to recover organic acids. In 2016-2018, she received a master's degree in chemical engineering, at the school of chemical engineering at the University of Campinas - UNICAMP. In the master's degree, the researcher worked with fermentation processes of filamentous fungi. And in 2018, he started his PhD in Bioenergy, also at UNICAMP, working with anaerobic digestion of residues from the sugarcane industry for the production of biogas, and energy recovery through methane.

Blanca Estela Bernal EscotoMaster's degree from the School of Accounting and Administration of the Autonomous University of Baja California. She has a degree in Business Administration and a PhD in Strategic Planning for Performance Improvement. She coordinates the Bachelor's Degree Program in Business Administration, certified with PRODEP and ANFECA profile; she has Conacyt Recognition Level SNI-1; she is an active member of the Academic Body on Social Entrepreneurship and Microfinance (Consolidated), and of the Iberoamerican Association in Marketing, the Network of Academic Bodies on Corporate Social Responsibility (RECARSE). His lines of research are regional development, sustainability and competitiveness.

Nancy Imelda Montero DelgadoMaster's degree from the School of Accounting and Administration of the Autonomous University of Baja California. She has a degree in Business Administration and a Doctorate in Administrative Sciences. She coordinates the Master's Program in Administration, is certified with PRODEP and ANFECA profile, is a member of the Academic Body MIPYMES (In Consolidation), International Network of Researchers on Competitiveness and the Iberoamerican Association in Marketing. Her research interests are competitiveness, strategy development and marketing in MSMEs.

She graduated in 1995 at the Mining and Iron Production Academy (AGH)specializing in the Automatics and Robotics, completed PhD in 2001 with dissertation “Effect of vibro-acoustical inconvenience on quality of work by the operator of the machine” working at AGH. In 2013 started work at the Cracow University of Technology (CUT) to create first the “Laboratory for Integrated Control Systems” and next to create a system testing laboratory in a new heating, cooling and ventilation for low energy buildings (MLBE) (from 2014 to 2017). She was responsible for control and data acquisition system allowing different HVACequipment to work individually or in tandem with other andmeasure their field performance. Now, parallel to leading the laboratory of Microtronics at Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Cracow TU where she optimizes algorithms for steering and control of the HVAC processes in low energy buildings, she is also involved in the interdisciplinary team studying the field of ergonomics, and interactions between physical factors and psycho-physiological reaction of humans. In this case the ergonomics and high level of indoor comfort complements fields of electrical engineering to form a working continuum. 

Mingxuan Mao received the Ph.D. degree in control theoryand control engineering at Chongqing University in 2017.From June 2016 to June 2017, he wasa visiting scholar in University of Leeds, Leeds, U.K., where he was engaged in research on advanced control theory and applications for renewable power generation and power electronics. His research interests include renewableenergy systems, power electronics converterand artificial intelligence algorithm.

Maurizio Prosperi is assistant professor at the University of Foggia (Italy). He holds Msc and PhD in Agricultural Economics, issued at Kyoto University (Japan). He has been involved in research activities related to the valorisation of agricultural biomass for energy and biomaterials production. In particular, he has been involved in several international European Projects, such as Sustoil (FP7-ENERGY-2007-1-RTD), STAR-AgroEnergy (FP7-REGPOT-2011-1), and EUBis (COST action TD1203). The focus of his research is on new business formation related to the valorization of renewable resources, in rural areas.

Prof. Wu received his B. S. degree and Ph. D. degree in Energy information and Automation in Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2008 and 2014. He joined Southeast University in 2014 as assistant professor in School of Energy and Environment, was promoted to associate professor in 2019. Since 2019, he has been a visiting professor in Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering in the University of Sheffield, UK.Prof. Wu has been investigators in over 20 research grants with funding from European Union, Royal Society, NSFC, MOST and Industry. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers including Applied Energy, Energy, Fuel, IEEE Trans. Energy Conversion. He has been awarded Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Foundation, Excellent young scholar of Jiangsu Engineering Thermophysics Society, Royal Society-Sino-British Trust International Fellow, Young Science and Technology Talents of Jiangsu Province in the last three years. His main research area is in Process Systems Engineering for Energy and Environment, including Process Modelling, Simulation, Control and Optimization, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Power Plants，Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) and Integrated Energy System (IES).

Dr Wallhagen is a lecturer in Environmental Science at the University of Gävle in Sweden with a PhD from KTH in Stockholm with the thesis ‘Environmental Assessment Tools for Neighbourhoods and Buildings in relation to Environment, Architecture, and Architects’. Her research involves environmental assessment methods and design for sustainable buildings and districts, ecosystem services, life cycle assessment, participatory design, environmental decisions and behaviors. She is a leader for the research program Urban Transition with the mission to accelerate the transition to a sustainable attractive society through extensive changes in technical, ecological and socio-technical systems. Currently, she is leading a Local Action within the EU-funded project Augmented Urbans with focus on creating more attractive, sustainable and resilient outdoor environments; and the project Environmental requirements, Energy use and Climate impact investigating the environmental impact of assessment tools, which she also holds courses about. Besides academic work, Wallhagen is still active in building projects as an architect and is always passionate about developing designs and research for more sustainable architecture.

Mohammadeza Fathi is a as a professional power engineer and electrical panel board manufacturer with more than 8years of industrial experience. His main working experiences have been associated with industrial electricity systems as engineer in power stations and power control centers(PCC), Tehran Metro, Tehran Urban and Suburban Railway Operation Co with more than 8years. He has also certified with a B.Sc and M.Sc. degree in power Technology Engineering from Azad University. His M.Sc. thesis was on the application of Optimal DG Placement to Find Optimal Voltage Profile Considering Minimum DG Investment Cost in Smart Neighborhood. He has also would like to pursue a PhD in this field

Ahmad Imran Khan is presently a PhD Scholar of Finance at Putra Business School, University of Putra, Malaysia. Preparatory to this he completed his MS in Business Administration with distinction from a well acclaimed University, NUML Pakistan. Previously he secured degree of Masters in Business Administration from Institute of Management Sciences, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Pakistan. He also succours the same institution for ten years as a Lecturer in the field of Finance and Management which also helps him unveil the limitless opportunities the came along the way. He attended various professional trainings on ‘Project Management’ and Decision-Making skills. He also got International certifications on ‘Competitive Strategies’ and ‘Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management’. His core interest areas in research includes Project Management, Corporate Governance, Intellectual Capital Management and Stock Market Impact on Economy. It seems his never-ending quest for research will pave his way towards the top.

Juan Jose Martinez Nolasco received his B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from theTechnological Institute of Guzman City, Jalisco, Mexico, in 2007; M.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from the Technological Institute of Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico, in 2009; and a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from the Technological Institute of Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico, in 2018. He is currently teacher and researcher in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Technological Institute of Celaya, his research interests include Intelligent Control, Direct Current Microgrids and Applications of Fuzzy Logic Control.

Dr. Xuejun Qian is postdoctoral research associate and lab manager for the Center for Advanced Energy Systems and Environmental Control Technologies (CAESECT) at Morgan State University. His research interests lie in the area of biomass combustion, emissions characteristics, renewable energy resources, refrigeration system, shell and tube heat exchanger systems, regression modelling, applied sciences, and building energy systems. He has been actively involved in development of new research proposals and subsequently awarded them as co-principal investigator. He has published more than 11 scientific journal papers, include 3 SCI journals, 4 international journals, and several conference proceedings, and invited as speaker in the international conferences. Several projects have been transitioned into the private sector by way of the school’s Office of Technology Transfer (OTT). In 2018, he also named as Student Innovator of the Year. Dr. Qian has also served as student mentor, conference judge, journal reviewer, editorial board member, and industry consultant to develop and discover new technologies and systems. Dr. Qian completed his D. Eng. and M. Eng. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Morgan State University. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Yanbian University of Science and Technologies.
