Dr. Huanhuan Xu is a postdoc at ITV RWTH Aachen University, working as a Humboldt fellow since August 2022. She received her Ph.D. from Harbin Institute of Technology in China in 2018, and joined Shandong University as an assistant professor in the same year. Her research work focuses on the flame characteristics of hydrocarbon fuels, laser diagnostics in combustion, and the clean combustion technology of carbon-neutral fuels. She has published 20 papers, and 4 patents she applied for have been approved.  Currently, she has an H-factor of 10 according to Google Scholar.

Dr. Elhachmi Essadiqi, is currently Dean of Aerospace and Automotive Engineering school at the Université Internationale de Rabat (UIR), Morocco and adjunct professor at Mississippi State University, in the USA. His main research interests are in the area of lightweighting materials for aeronautics and automotive applications (e.g. Al – Li, composites), alloying and process design for casting and thermo-mechanical processing and additive manufacturing; microstructure and properties relationship in materials. He is now working on Seawater Desalination using solar energy, and GHG reduction.

Tiago Martins is an agronomist. He obtained a degree in Agronomy from the University of Évora (2019). In 2022, he obtained a master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the same institution, where he developed his master's thesis on municipal organic compounds and biochar as components of substrates to produce seedlings. Currently he works with berries. In the future he intends to obtain a doctorate in agricultural sciences.

Domenico Cimmino has a degree in Computer Science and actively operates in technological innovation and R&D Sector applied to energy sector and IoT field. He is the founder and the project leader of “Eugenio” for Evolvere: an ecosystem (gateway, cloud infrastructure and different software applications) for the management and optimizations of different types of Distributed Energy Resources. As R&D and Innovation Technology Manager, Domenico constantly analyzes the evolution of scientific research and energy market trends to experiment and implement solutions and services with a high innovative content.

Dr.Xiaohong Yang obtained her PhD degree from School of Material Science and Engineering in the University of New South Wales in the year 2014. She is now an associate professor in School of Metallurgy, Northeastern University in China. During 2018-2020, she worked as a visiting research fellow in ARC centre of Nanoscale Biophotonics in Macquarie University Australia. Her research focuses on the development of innovative strategies to synthesize semiconductor nanoparticles and their nanocomposites, to engineer functional assemblies, and to understand the underlying fundamentals for functionality control in energy, environmental and biomedical applications, particularly in the field of gas sensing and photo catalysis. She has published more than 90 papers and has the H index of 22.

Othman. A. Fallatah. Assistance Professor, Faculty of Nuclear Engineering, and Radiation Protection & Training Centre, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia, Jeddah. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, USA. His  research interested in ( Environmental Radioactivity, GIS, Remote Sensing, hydrology, modeling). As part of his current research activities, he builds upon the chemistry background he acquired during his B.Sc., which involved monitoring and analyzing water quality problems in KSA and natural radioactive pollution, as well as understanding geology, hydrology, and geochemistry.

Arnaud Coutu is a lecturer in numerical mathematics (PhD) specialized in numerical optimization and modeling for environment preservation and development of renewable energies. He is in charge of the numerical modeling division at GéoLab, Institut Polytechnique UniLaSalle Beauvais (France) and his previous papers were about optimization, hydrodynamics and modeling of solid-state anaerobic digestion. His skills include modeling, CAD, CFD, 3D-printing and process engineering. He is currently working on the application of numerical tools for the optimization and modeling of anaerobic digestion and the energy mix at different scales (laboratory scale, process scale and regional scale)

Wojciech Szulc is research worker and Deputy Financial and Operational Director. Specialist in the field of plastic deformation of metal, business consultancy for steel sector in that in the area of environmental protection. An expert in the field of best available BAT techniques for further metal processing (FMP) – member of TWG for FMP BREF review - JRC EIPPCB in Seville. V-ce President of European Steel Technology Platform ESTEP. Co-author of industry guide on the application of BAT techniques for the metallurgical industry ordered of the Ministry of the Environment.

Education: graduated from the Faculty of Geography of the M.Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). Specialty Oceanography.Career: After graduating from MSU for almost 10 years worked at the P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Academy of Sciences. Dealing with problems of water circulation, atmosphere-ocean interaction in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. From 1975 to 1986 he worked in the Secretariat of the Oceanographic Committee of the Soviet Union. He was engaged in international cooperation of the USSR in the study of the World Ocean: coordinated participation of the Soviet Union in the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO programs, he was the scientific secretary of the Soviet part of the Joint Soviet-French commission on study the oceans.

Sulaiman Alyahya is an academic professor by by profession and works with one of the govrnment univerities in Saudi Arabia. He holds a BSc in Agricultural engineering from King Saud University (Saudi Arabia) and MSc and PhD in agricultural engineering from Iowa State University(USA). Sulaiman has 30 years of experience in education, research and administration.  Curently, his main interest is in biomass energy. Sulaiman grew up in one of the agricultural cities of Saudi Arabia

Philip W. T. Pong received a B.Eng. from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2002 with 1st class honours. Then he obtained a PhD in engineering at the University of Cambridge in 2005. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Magnetic Materials Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for three years. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). His research interest focuses on the fault detection, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection of power grid. He is the Founding Director of the Green Technology Research and Training Laboratory, leading the research and education activities of offshore wind energy at NJIT. Philip Pong is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), a Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FInstP), a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (FHKIE), a Fellow of the NANOSMAT Society (FNS), a chartered physicist (CPhys), a chartered engineer (CEng), a chartered energy engineer, a registered professional engineer (R.P.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Energy), and a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE). He serves on the editorial boards for several IEEE and SCI journals.

Marian Niesler is research worker, associate professor, Head of the Department of Primary Processes. Specialist in the field of blast furnace process, iron ore sintering, environmental protection and implementation of new fuels and reducing agents in metallurgical processes. An expert in the field of best available BAT techniques for steel iron production. Four industry guides on the application of BAT techniques for the metallurgical industry and administration were created under the order of the Ministry of the Environment.

Francesca Pantaleone is a young appassionate of energy sector, with particular focus on sustainability topics. Already graduated from University of Siena and Ljubljana through Double Degree program, is currently attending the last year of Green Economy course at University of Ferrara. Currently working for a multinational energy company in Milan as analyst for B2B gas sector.

Mohammed Hussain Alanbari Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Master in Control and Instrumentation and Energy from the University of Brighton in London, specialist in Industrial Automation. Projects: SPRIT PAORAMA (Perception and Navigation Organization for Autonomous Mobile Applications), BRITE PSYCHO (Powerful Tools for Identification and Control of Highly Non-Linear Process) MAVIR, SINAMED, ISIS, TEFILA2. I am currently working in the fields of applying nanotechnologies in renewable energy.

Jonathan C. pacaldo is a Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology, Palawan State University.

Nada Rabie, Ph.D., is a part time assistant professor at several universities in United Arab Emirates. She published in Q1 Scopus indexed journals and presented in several international and national conferences. She has more than ten years of working experience in academia and market research. Her research interest includes innovation, open innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, organizational practices, and employability. She studied business management with a specialization on innovation, entrepreneurship and HRM at British University in Dubai.

Dr. Julio Terrados holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Jaén (Spain) since 2005, and Master Degrees both in Aeronautical Engineering (Madrid Polytechnics University, 1989) and in Business Administration MBA (IDEOR, 1994). He teaches and researches at University of Jaén since 1994 and serves currently as Tenured Senior Lecturer at Projects Department. He is also an External Professor at the Universidad Internacional de Andalucia and Visiting Professor at Universidad de Cartagena (Colombia). Dr. Terrados main research interests are focused on sustainable energy planning, renewable resources assessment and strategic planning. He has co-authored twenty-five peer-reviewed papers and twenty- two books and chapters. In addition, he has been main researcher or participant in more than twenty research projects funded by public institutions or private companies.

Cristina Saez Blazquez is technical mining engineer (2012) from the University of Salamanca, obtaining an extraordinary prize in this degree. She also has a Degree in Mining and Energy (2014, University of Salamanca), and completed a MS Degree in Laboral Risks in 2013 at the “Camilo José Cela” University and a Mining and Energy MS Degree at the University of León (2018). In 2019, she obtained her PhD with international mention in shallow geothermal resources at the University of Salamanca. During her predoctoral formation, she was awarded by a predoctoral grant from the Spanish Ministry that allowed her being professor at the Higher Polytechnic School of Ávila (University of Salamanca). Additionally, she was a visiting researcher at the University of Vigo (2016), the Polytechnic University of Turin (2017) and the University of Padua (2018). She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the TIDOP Research Group from the University of Salamanca. She is author of several papers and conference contributions related to the optimization of low enthalpy geothermal systems.

Roberto Fazioli, Professor of Energy and Environmental Economics at University of Ferrara – I. PhD at University of Bologna (jointly with Bocconi University of Milan and Cà Foscari University of Venice). Numerous institutional experiences (director of Tariff Regulation for Energy Regulatory Public Authority and technical expert for “regulatory design” in a lot of governmental bodies and commissions), and professional (director in international Advisoring Firms), other than President and/or CEO of various Utilities (Energy & Infrastructures sector) and director in the two Infrastructural Investment Funds operating in the energy sector (London UK and Milan – I).

Mingxuan Mao received the Ph.D. degree in control theoryand control engineering at Chongqing University in 2017.From June 2016 to June 2017, he was a visiting scholar in University of Leeds, Leeds, U.K., where he was engaged in research on advanced control theory and applications for renewable power generation and power electronics. His research interests include renewableenergy systems, power electronics converterand artificial intelligence algorithm.

Dr. Ahmad Shabudin Ariffin is a senior lecturer at Faculty of Business and Management Science, Perlis Islamic College University (KUIPs), Malaysia. He has been appointed as the Director for Research and Innovation Management Centre (RMIC) KUIPs since 1st October 2019 which offers national and international networking, research collaboration as well as community & industry engagement. Dr. Ahmad Shabudin previously has been a senior lecturer at Universiti UtaraMalaysia (UUM) for seven years. During his time, he has published extensively in local and international journals as well books on supply chain and logistics management. He has completed his Bachelor from University of Science Malaysia (USM) and Master’s degree as well as Doctoral degree from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) which broaden her horizon as an academic in technology, operations, and logistics management. Along with his experience and educational background he has been appointed as board of director for KLPK Ternak Sdn. Bhd. Dr. Ahmad Shabudin is a professional membership for International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA) since October 2021 and also a member for Federation of Malaysian Unit Trust Managers since 2010.

Mohamed Taieb BEN DHIA had obtained his University Doctorate in 1990 at the Faculty ofSciences of Tunis –Universiy of Tunis El Manar Senior Professor in 2009 and full Professorin 2016 in the same Faculty of Sciences. During 43 teaching years at the university, firstly, Ideveloped a nuclear magnetic spectroscopy (NMR-1D and NMR-2D) and thermodynamic approach concerning my research. Secondly in quality of Professor of Spectroscopy (NMR, IR, UV, Mössbauer) and Mass Spectrometry he is so solicited in national and international research evaluation committee as an expert. Concerning the pedagogic duty always he supervise Master Degree and Doctorate level in Physical-Chemistry and Theoretical approach using the theoretical Functional Density (DFT).
