Abdul Hameed is currently appointed as an Infection preventionist at CDC Foundation, recently completed master’s degree in public health from University of Massachusetts Lowell in May 2020. Before that he completed his Doctor of Physical therapy degree in 2017 from Dow University of health Sciences, Pakistan. Over two years' experience in the field of Healthcare, currently he is based in the Minnesota Department of Health, where he conducts infection control and response assessments with the facilities all over Minnesota. He writes facility reports and provide education to individuals and groups about risk, prevention, transmission, and control of COVID-19 and other diseases. He also reviews State, CDC, CMS guidelines and evidence-based practices and incorporate appropriate findings into routine practice.
