Biography:

Mr. Majid Tahir is working as Health Education & Risk Communication Officer by profession at National Institute of Health, Islamabad, Pakistan. Holds masters in social sciences and did Public Health Emergency Management Fellowship from CDC-ATL, United States. He has also been involved in public health emergency response activities to various outbreaks and public health issues in Pakistan. Recently engaged in COVID-19 response since January 2020. Developed National Risk Communication Plan for and its utilization in Public Health Emergency Operations Center.
