The Longdom Awards aim to celebrate exceptional achievements and contributions of professionals and researchers across various fields, including Medical, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Health Care, and Engineering. The Longdom Scientific Committee, a part of the Advisory Council, oversees the selection process, recommending candidates for award consideration and approval. The awards encompass several categories, including Best Speaker Talks, Best Abstract, Best Poster Award, Outstanding Young Researcher Award, and House of Delegate Awards. These prestigious accolades are presented annually during the Longdom conference meetings. Award recipients will have demonstrated originality in their scientific or technical studies, showcasing novel applications or innovative research approaches that meet international publication standards.
Outstanding speaker awards
Outstanding Speaker Awards are designed to inspire participants to present their research in engaging and innovative ways. The judging criteria include Originality (15%), which emphasizes original research that adds to the knowledge base and inspires peers; Research Method (15%), which assesses the scientific rigor and robust evidence behind conclusions; and Presentation Style (70%), which evaluates the novelty and engagement level of the delivery.
Best abstract awards
Best Abstract Awards recognize the top three submissions based on a critical review by the Scientific Committee. These awards focus on the quality of presentation content, educational value, and the written abstract's excellence. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must register for the conference, as nominations are contingent upon fulfilling this requirement. The awards will be announced during the closing ceremony, and authors of nominated abstracts are expected to attend the opening ceremony.
Please note that; The jury will only consider the nominated speakers for the Best abstracts awards selection. The jury will evaluate the nominated abstracts according to; uniqueness, title, abstract, and keywords.
The applicants of the Best Abstracts Awards should register for the conference. The nominated abstracts will not be evaluated in case of not fulfilling the registration requirements. The awards will be announced at the closing ceremony of the conference and the author(s) of the nominated abstracts should be present at the opening ceremony.
Best poster awards
The conference also offers Best Poster Awards for the three outstanding posters presented. All posters will be automatically entered into this category, with two reviewers selecting the winners based on specific criteria, including design and layout, coherence, argumentation, methodology, familiarity with prior research, attractiveness, clarity of the message, balance between text and visuals, and overall impression. Posters should be approximately 1x1 meter in size and in an upright format, with font sizes of 22-24 pt. for text and 60-70 pt. for headings, ensuring readability from a distance. Participants are required to bring their fully assembled and printed posters to the conference.
