Caifu has more than 25 years of biotech R&D and academic research experiences in qPCR and NGS new product or application development. He has been CTO at 3D Medicines since December 2018. Prior to 3D Medicines, he was SVP of Genomics R&D at IDT/Danaher on 2014-2018, VP of Genomics R&D at Applied Biosystems/Thermo Fisher on 1998-2014 and VP of Molecular Biology R&D at Pall on 2010-2012. He has developed >90 RUO/LDT/CDx products in qPCR and NGS and established broad & productive scientific collaborations in precision cancer care, microRNAs, stem cells and single cell analysis. Before joining Applied Biosystems, he received his postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School and Ph.D. in Genetics at University of Missouri-Columbia. Caifu is the author of 56 peer-reviewed papers, 8 book chapters, holder of 37 patents or patent publications, invited speakers for scientific conferences, reviewer for peer-reviewed scientific journals, and winners of numerous awards.
Dr Pleayo Tovaranonte is a general practitioner and physician in New Zealand. He graduated from the University of Otago and finished his internship at King's College, London with further postgraduate qualifications in Sports & Aviation Medicine, Health Services Management, Entrepreneurship, Medical Law & Bioethics. Dr Pleayo taught at the University of Otago as a senior lecture in Internal Medicine and General Practice. He has published widely in the field of Disaster Medicine and Medical Technology. He is the Medical Director of Precision Medicine International Ltd, a personalized Medicine & pharmacogenomics platform. He is also a Managing Director of Rev3 Tech, a company utilising Augmented and Virtual Reality in the medical and education industries. Outside work, he helped establish a not-for-profit organisation, Beyond the Stethoscope, to encourage junior doctors to volunteer their time and skills in developing countries.
Dr. Pravin D Potdar has completed his Ph.D. from Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai in 1991. Last 30 years, he has been working in the field of Cellular & Molecular Biology of Cancer. His present interest is in molecular profiling of cancer, cancer stem cells, understanding the mechanism of metastatic cancer, Circulating Tumor cells, Personalized Medicine, Immunotherapy of Cancer and early biomarkers of cancer. Dr. Potdar is a recipient of National Cancer Institute, USA award and also holds a Faculty position at M D Anderson Cancer Centre; Houston TX, USA. Dr. Potdar retired from Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai as a Head, Department of Molecular Medicine & Biology, after servicing there for 12years. Dr. Potdar had established Molecular Diagnostics & Stem cell Research Laboratory at Jaslok and carried out various research programs in the field of Cancer Genetics & stem Cell Research. He has developed several innovated technologies which can help to diagnose and treat various cancers. Dr. Potdar also carried out extensive research in the field of stem cell research and developed several mesenchymal and hematopoietic cell lines from various normal and tumor tissues, adipose tissue, dental pulp cells, blood cells, etc. So far, Dr. Potdar has published 81 papers in national & international journals. He holds the position on Editorial Board of various international journals. Dr. Potdar was a Guest Editor for the special issue on “ Circulating Tumor Cells” published by Journal of Cancer Metastasis & Treatment (JCMT), USA. Dr. Potdar’s name is included in Marquis “Who’s Who in World” Book 2012. Presently Dr. Potdar is a Faculty & Professor of Genetics and Stem Cell Biology at Dr. A.P J. Abdul Kalam Education & Research Centre, Mumbai. India as well as he holds the position of “Chairman” of their Ethics Committee of this Centre. Dr. Potdar also act as Advisor and Director of Cancer Genome Research & Bioinformatic digital programs on NGS, CRISPR technology with Edgene BioMed Pvt Ltd, India. Presently he is also a Guest Editor for the special issue of Journal of Cancer Metastatic & Treatment (www.jcmtjournal.com) on “Immunotherapy of Cancer: Future Possible Therapy for Metastatic Cancer” This year, Dr. Potdar has received “Renato Dulbecco Memorial Award 2019” for an invited Talk on “ CAR-T cell Immunotherapy:- New avenue to cure metastatic cancer” at 3rd World Cancer Congress 2019 held in Mumbai, India, November 2019.
Dr Sergey Suchkov, MD, PhD was born in 11.01.1957, a researcher-immunologist, a clinician, graduated from Astrakhan State Medical University, Russia, in 1980. Suchkov has been trained at the Institute for Medical Enzymology, The USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, National Center for Immunology (Russia), NIH, Bethesda, USA, and British Society forImmunology to cover 4 British university facilities. Since 2005, Dr Suchkov has been working as Professor of I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University and of A.I.Evdokimov Moscow State Medical & Dental University. From 2007, Suchkov is the First Vice-President and Dean of School of PPPM Politics and Management of the University of World Politics and Law. In 1991-1995, Dr Suchkov was a Scientific Secretary-in-Chief of the Editorial Board of the Interna-tional Journal“Biomedical Science” (Russian Academy of Sciences and Royal Society of Chemistry, UK) and TheInternational Publishing Bureau at the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 1995-2005, Suchkov was a Director of the Russian-American Program in Immunology of the Eye Dis-eases.Dr Suchkov is a member of EPMA (European Association of Predictive, Preventive and Person-alized Medicine,Brussels-Bonn), a member of the NY Academy of Sciences, a member of the Editorial Boards for Open Journal of Immunology, EPMA J., and Personalized Medicine Universe, and others. Dr Suchkov is known as a co-author of the Concept of post-infectious clinical and immunological syn-drome, co-author of a concept of abzymes and their impact into the pathogenesis ofautuimmunity conditions, and as one of the pioneers in promoting the Concept of PPPM into a practical branchof health services.
