Intima Alrimawi
Dr. Intima Alrimawi is an Associate Professor at Georgetown University- School of Nursing. She has more than seven years of experience in nursing education, with a particular focus on public health and research courses. She also has 17 years of experience in the children and community health fields.
Dr. Alrimawi is a board member of many organizations that aim to develop children and family health and the nursing profession. This includes being a member of the Nursing Research Advisory Committee (NRAC) at Children’s National Hospital. She is also the president-elect and awards chair at the Epsilon Zeta Chapter/ Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI), and a member of the research and nominating committees at the International Family Nursing Association (IFNA). She is also an active member of the following organizations: the International Network for Doctoral Education in Nursing (INDEN), Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS), American Nursing Association (ANA), Virginia Nursing Association (VNA), National League for Nursing (NLN), and Palestinian American Research Center (PARC).
