Joanna Piotrowska-Woroniak
Joanna Piotrowska-Woroniak was born on February 8, 1973, in Bialystok, Poland. She is a distinguished academic with a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Military University of Technology in Warsaw, earned in 2007 under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Hab. Eng. Janusz TerpiĆowski. Her doctoral research focused on “Comparative studies of thermal diffusivity using the classic and modified impulse method on the example of iron,” showcasing her expertise in the field of thermal analysis.
Joanna also holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering, which she received from the Bialystok University of Technology in 1997. Her master's thesis, titled “Technical and Economic Analysis of Water Boiler Rooms Fired with Various Fuels,” reflects her deep interest in energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Her academic journey began at the Bialystok University of Technology, where she studied Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering from 1992 to 1997. Following her graduation, Joanna began her long-standing career at the same institution, where she has been a faculty member since 1997. Throughout her tenure, she has contributed significantly to the fields of environmental and civil engineering, sharing her knowledge with students and colleagues alike.
