Title: Energy Alterations in Patient with Malignant Thyroid Tumor and How Can We Treat It Without Doing Surgery, Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy

Abstract:

Introduction: Malignant thyroid tumor is considered a cancer in the parênquima cell of the gland. There are two major types of cell consisted in follicular cells (that represents 90-95% of all thyroid malignancies) and perifollicular cells.

Purpose: the purpose of this study is to show that it is possible to treat malignant thyroid tumor without using surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy only rebalancing the internal energy of Yin, Yang, Qi, Blood and taking out heat retention through Chinese medicine’s tools ( Chinese dietary counseling, auricular acupuncture with apex ear bloodletting and systemic acupuncture, and replenishment of internal massive organs using homeopathy medications according to the theory Constitutional Homeopathy of the Five Elements Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Crystal-based medications.

Methods: through one case report f 70-year-old female patient with malignant thyroid tumor diagnosed in the gynecology routine exam, and it was referred to head and each surgery. He marked to do the surgery two months after the diagnosis. During the interval between the diagnosis and the surgery (two months), she went to do some acupuncture sessions associating with Chinese dietary counseling and radioethesia procedure, that showed that all her internal massive organs were in the lowest level of energy, rated one out eight, with exception of the seventh chakra, that was normal, rated in eight.

Results: the results of the treatment was that after two months of treatment, she was submitted to the surgery that revealed that the malignant tumor become begin and she did not need to take out the thyroid any more.

Conclusion: the conclusion of the study was that malignant thyroid tumor can be treated without using surgery or chemotherapy or radiotherapy only using Chinese tools to rebalance of energy of Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood and take out the internal Heat using apex ear bloodletting. The replenishment of the internal massive organs energy using homeopathy medications also are very important tools used by these patients because they can increase the vital energy, contrary When you use highly concentrated medications, that can induce the reduction in this energy deficient state.

Title: Probable Mode of Action of Errhine Therapy – An Overview

Abstract:

Nose is one among the Panchadnaanendriya (5 Sense organ) whose functions are not only limited to olfaction and respiration but also considered as a pathway for drug administration. So the drug administered through nose known as Nasya (Errhine Therapy). Nasya reaches to the brain and eliminates the morbid Doshas responsible for producing the disease. Present abstract shows, actual drug administered in nose how it will probably act on vital points located in brain and also how it will act on organs related to these points.e.g.in Ashtanga Samgraha it is explained that Nasa being the entry to Shira, the drug administrated through nostril reaches Shringataka Sira Marma by Nasa strotas (Nasal vessels) and spreads in the Brain reaches at a junction place of Netra (Eyes) , Shrotra (Ears), Kantha (Throat), Siramukhas (opening of the vessels) etc. and remove or detach the morbid Doshas present above supraclavicular region and expel them from the Uttamanga (Head).

Title: Radio frequency Ablation in the treatment of Micro Papillary Thyroid Cancer

Abstract:

Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) of Thyroid Nodules is a minimally invasive treatment with several advantages over conventional surgery. Such advantages include no need for hospitalization or general anesthesia, as it is performed with local anesthesia, associated with light sedation when necessary, with discharge approximately two hours after the procedure. Other advantages are the absence of a scar and fast recovery. Still, without a doubt, the main advantage is the preservation of thyroid function, preventing the patient from using thyroid hormones. Its rapid acceptance by the medical community has expanded its use for early malignant tumors, especially papillary thyroid microcarcinoma. The technique used for treating malignant and benign thyroid nodules has some differences. When ablating benign nodules, we should respect the limits of the nodules respecting the normal tissue around the nodule. However, when we are ablating small thyroid cancer, we need to treat not only the tumor but also the surrounding area as a safety margin, which gives the wrong impression that the nodule grew after the RFA in the control ultrasound. Here we will discuss the indications, follow-up details, results, and perspectives of RFA in treating papillary thyroid microcarcinomas.

Title: Mucormycosis of the middle ear: A case report

Abstract:

Mucor is a saprophytic organism and commonly invades the nose and paranasal sinuses of immunocompromised and diabetic patients. The initial presentation may be with pain and foul-smelling discharge that is unresponsive to regular treatment. The invasive variety of mucormycosis is seen mostly in diabetic patients. Middle ear involvement is extremely uncommon. Early diagnosis based on strong clinical suspicion with radical debridement in the early setting under amphotericin cover offers a suitable management option.

We present a case report of an elderly male who presented with foul-smelling otorrhoea with left facial palsy, the patient was further investigated and KOH mount revealed growth of mucor species, further patient was planned for mastoid exploration under cover of Amphotericin at postoperative period.
