Title: Probable Mode of Action of Errhine Therapy – An Overview
Abstract:
Nose is one among the Panchadnaanendriya (5 Sense organ) whose functions are not only limited to olfaction and respiration but also considered as a pathway for drug administration. So the drug administered through nose known as Nasya (Errhine Therapy). Nasya reaches to the brain and eliminates the morbid Doshas responsible for producing the disease. Present abstract shows, actual drug administered in nose how it will probably act on vital points located in brain and also how it will act on organs related to these points.e.g.in Ashtanga Samgraha it is explained that Nasa being the entry to Shira, the drug administrated through nostril reaches Shringataka Sira Marma by Nasa strotas (Nasal vessels) and spreads in the Brain reaches at a junction place of Netra (Eyes) , Shrotra (Ears), Kantha (Throat), Siramukhas (opening of the vessels) etc. and remove or detach the morbid Doshas present above supraclavicular region and expel them from the Uttamanga (Head).
Biography:
Sunil Pal has completed his B.A.M.S Graduation at the age of 24 years from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (Bangalore), India. He has Post graduation in M.D. Kayachikitsa (Internal MedicineAyurveda) from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (Nashik), India. He has over 10 International Publications with 2 Abstract as titled in souvenir in his Post graduation academics period. He has presented almost 40+ Paper presentation in International conferences, Symposium, CME in both International & National platform. Recently he has been awarded with “Bharat Gaurav Puraskar 2021” and “Certificate of Excellence” for outstanding contribution in the field of “Ayurveda Physician”. Recently nominated as “Young Scientist” by VDGOOD Foundation, Coimbatore & Also nominated as “National Excellency Award” by KTK Foundation, New Delhi. He has won many prizes in Quizzes, Paper presentations, Poster presentations, Essay writings, Article writings etc.
